Michael Vick the Dog Whisperer

Lol at the name … but honestly think Vick has been through hell and back about fighting them dogs. It pisses me off that he has been through so much over fighting dogs. And its rapist and murders out having a good time.

Now for the record im not a animal lover but I am not cool with harming animals at all. I have 3 issues with this.
1)People hunt animals all the time.
2)He did the crime he did the time.
3)Losing everything.

People hunt animals all the time.
From the site http://www.idausa.org/facts/hunting.html they state, hunters kill more than 200 million animals yearly - crippling, orphaning, and harassing millions more. The annual death toll in the U.S. includes 42 million mourning doves, 30 million squirrels, 28 million quail, 25 million rabbits, 20 million pheasants, 14 million ducks, 6 million deer, and thousands of geese, bears, moose, elk, antelope, swans, cougars, turkeys, wolves, foxes, coyotes, bobcats, boars, and other woodland creatures. (Compiled by The Fund for Animals with data from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and state wildlife agencies.) Now does that justify Vick participating in dog fighting ring? No. I am not supportive of that in anyway. My issue is how is it that shooting a doe roaming by its lonesome in the wood snacking on trees and shrubbery is less vicious than hanging and drowning dogs? … Now I have heard some justification for the killing deer and wild animals because, of course gaming laws, and a need to get rid of the excess animals… but if im not mistaking there is def. an over population of dogs and cats right?

He did the crime he did the time
Vick, 27, and three associates were indicted by a federal grand jury in Richmond, Virginia, on a conspiracy count alleging they bought and sponsored dogs in an animal fighting venture and traveled across state lines to participate in illegal activity, including gambling. Judge Hudson stated that he was convinced that it was not a momentary lack of judgment" on Vick's part, and that Vick was a "full partner" in the dog fighting ring, and he was sentenced to serve 23 months in federal prison.[56] Hudson noted that, despite Vick's claims that he accepted responsibility for his actions, his failure to cooperate fully with federal officials, coupled with a failed drug test and a failed polygraph, showed that Vick had not accepted full responsibility for "promoting, funding and facilitating this cruel and inhumane sporting activity".[57] Vick was assigned to United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth, a federal prison facility in Leavenworth, Kansas to serve his sentence of 23 months. He went on to serve 21 months at Leavenworth and 2 on house arrest. In America the judicial system was set up to punish those that committed crimes, and give them a chance at continuing there life after the time was served. He did his time, there are rapist and murderers out here with jobs. Vicks job is to play football, why was it such a big deal about him going back to “work”?

Losing everything.
During his career with the Falcons, Vick became a spokesperson for many companies; his endorsement contracts included Nike, EA Sports, Coca-Cola, Powerade, Kraft, Rawlings, Hasbro and AirTran
There is no reason for someone to to loose as much money as he did after loosing these endorsements.  But its looking good for him this season, Vick's achievements on the football field haven't gone unnoticed this 2010 season. Michael Vick's jersey is the top-selling football jersey over the past 4 weeks. Vick leads all NFL players in Pro Bowl voting. Banished from the lucrative world of product endorsements after his arrest in 2007 for running dog fights, Vick is finally being invited to sell once again. Woodbury, New Jersey Nissan is his first client, but marketing experts expect more to follow, as long as Vick and the Eagles keep winning.

Hope you in enjoyed
